Hi,

I had some mildly overclocked ram (ballistix 5300 at 800mhz 4-4-4-12) which i took down to stock speed and reset the bios to default settings (fsb to default, everything onto auto etc). On rebooting i got a long beep before the system restarted which according to my mb manual means a dram error. I've since tried different combinations of ram configuration. One stick gave a long beep and the other no beep but no post either. Also tried to reset cmos to no effect. Not really sure whats wrong or what to try next.. can anyone shed some light?! spec in sig.

Thanks in advance!

Ok, well it eventually decided to post with one module in. With the other one it gives the dram error beep. I guess this means its knackered... so... is it easy to rma to crucial?
