Following this post, I thought it might make more sense to create a separate thread for this as it may not actually be directly related to the QD-OLED monitor.

Short background - in January this year (270 days after first getting it), my AW3424DW developed a vertical line the full height of the screen, about 70mm in from the right hand side. I had it replaced under warranty with no issues - all good.

Today whilst working, I've just noticed the same line, in exactly the same place has appeared on the replacement monitor (279 days later, so a very similar timescale, given my daily usage, this could easily be at the 2000 hours mark and the discrepancy within normal variation of my daily usage - e.g. the exact same number of hours).

It appears on the test screen even when the cable is unplugged, so it's definitely a problem with the monitor.
On the old monitor, it disappeared for a while when I do a pixel refresh, but then came back - I haven't tried on this one yet as I'm still working, but I will do so shortly when I finish for the day.
I'm 99% sure it's not burn-in. The line doesn't align with any UI elements on anything I have open frequently, and it is the full height of the screen.

I'm wondering what would cause this - surely it's very unlikely for 2 monitors to have the exact same issue in exactly the same place - unless it's a manufacturing fault, e.g. with the casing putting too much pressure on the particular section of the screen or something? If that were the case then I'd expect it to be a bit more widespread, but I've only been able to find a couple of reddit posts with a similar looking issue.

I'm now wondering if it could be caused by a faulty GPU or DP cable? Or anything else to suggest?

It's not a huge problem as I can most likely get another warranty replacement, but it's a bit of a pain, and I don't particularly want to keep killing monitors if it's something wrong with my system!

As you can see, it's in almost exactly the same place.

Edit: just checked in a reference picture I made when it happened before - the new line is maybe 2-3mm further to the left, so not in exactly the same place.
