Help picking a tablet for the Mrs

Hello,
I am after a tablet for the Mrs so the little one can have her laptop, was considering buying an Ipad but it doesn't look like I can run calibre and download my books onto it for her.
Any tablets about the same size that I can run calibre software on and download my books for her to read.
The only other thing she does really is play flash games on her facebook account, think thats a must have for her, something about watering plants and running farms ......WTF LOL
Any recommends ??

My recommendation would be the 8" Galaxy Tab 3. Superb little device and the extra 1" does makes a difference. It's not too big like the ipad and has loads of useful and fun apps!

Does it do flash games and calibre okay too ?
