Hi

I've been looking at the benq gw2760hs

My budget is max £200

I'be got an old titan with a gtx 285. mainly be playing dota and want to get into counterstrike.

Bit puzzled by the range of monitors for that price. The asus ve278h is £10 cheaper with a 2ms response. And there's a few others with subtle differences.

I will also be using it for my ps4 - will it fill the screen or will it have a border? Occasionally will be using to watch blurays

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks for those- benq definitely sounds more appealing but only has 1 hdmi port. If I could get the same with more ports I'd be happy

No worries hope there is some info you find useful.

After sleeping on it, I ordered 1 of the BenQ monitors to try, on paper it was the better option. I'm not gaming much and the price on the Asus really isn't that great considering.

I'm OK with the 1 HDMI port but a DVI to HDMI / HDMI to DVI lead is always an option?

Should arrive tomorrow so if you want any info just let me know, if I'm happy ill order a 2nd.

might go for this one purely for the x2 HDMI slots:

though i can't find any reviews on it

Why the Iiyama? Because it's the best VA panel type 27'' monitor. In terms of colours, blacks, responsiveness, etc and it also behaves much better in terms of motion than many other VA panels you'll find, and once you activate overdrive (which you want to do for pretty much any VA monitor otherwise you'll find the ghosting to be awful) it works better than any other. That BenQ for example is a bit worse motion-wise as well as colour-wise. I've had both, I'm talking from experience, but you can find very good comprehensive reviews for both on Prad. E.g. One / Two

Why VA instead of IPS/TN? Because it has the perfect balance between responsiveness and image quality.

Picked up 2 of the BenQ's and I'm very happy with them. They stand pretty high compared to my last set but getting used to that.

Monitor mounts needed next I think.
