help picking monitor

using 1080ti . I am using a 50 inch 4k tv for my gaming on and for a game like forza horizon 3 , 4k - ultra settings, the FPS hits about 75 to 80 , I am looking in to getting a gaming monitor but not sure which one and most of all one to suit my needs , should I go for lower resolution for higher FPS? I am not sure and I don't know a lot about monitor tech, I do play a lot of multiplayer games and some single player .

What is your budget? Which other games do you play? The 120 Hz 4K monitors are due next month at £2K. The likes of Forza benefit from ultra-wide monitors so look at the 21:9 and 32:9 monitors.

I have £800 , 120hz at 4k wouldn't that be a waste because at 4k im getting round 75fps on forza, I play a different range of games dirt rally - COD , GTA , but mostly driving games .
