Please can anyone tell me if I need anything else to get a decent PWM fan set up? Specifically, will the mobo control the PWM fans itself, or do I need a separate controller?

After a bit of a mix up, I currently have this setup:-

Stock Phantek intake fan at the front, and 2 noiseblockers in push-pull on the radiator at the back.

The total relevant bits and pieces I have:

Motherboard:
  • Gigabyte Z170X Designare with "Dual Hybrid Fan Headers with Precise PWM / Voltage Control for Water Pump & Fan"
Case:
  • Phanteks Eclipse P400S with "Three-speed fan controller"
Radiator:
  • OcUK AIO kit - Asetek 120mm 570LC High Performance Compact AIO Liquid Cooling Solution
Fans:
  • 1 stock case fan - probably Phanteks PH-F120SP 120mm
  • 2 x Noiseblocker BlackSilent Pro Fan PLPS - 120mm PWM (1500rpm)
  • 2 x Noiseblocker BlackSilent Pro Fan PL2 Fan - 120mm (1400rpm)
  • 1 x Prolimatech Ultra Sleek Vortex - 120mm (15mm low profile fan)
  • 1 x Phanteks PH-F120MP 120mm Fan
