Hi All!

I have a M17x R3 Alienware laptop from dell.

I have two harddrives. One HDD has Windows 7 Home installed and the one Windows 7 Pro. I use one for work and one for gaming. I bought a SSD today and replaced my HOME HDD.

I have installed Windows & Home on my SSD but i No longer see an option to change which windows I boot up.

I think the "OEM" partition was on my Original HDD and that could be causing this...

Please anyone have any advice on how i can fix this without having to reinstall my work drive... that really isn't an option.

Your Master Boot Record (MBR) might be fubarred.

Boot off a Windows 7 disk, go to repair opton and go from there, a quick google on "Reparing MBR" will give you comprehensive instructions

dload easybcd for free google it install set up your dual boot and mbr with it away you go boot as many systems as you like on one pc im booting 6 atm

here this is my boot screen
you can basically do what you want with it ive used it for years just dload the free version fully functional does everything you would want read the forum a bit but its straight forward

top line on this pic doesnt show win7 ssd

lower one shows in screen boot options using the included ireboot (instant reboot)

oh let me know how u get on with it im a huge fan of it and did some beta testing of it years ago
