Hey guys!

My graphics card is dominating far cry 3 but I am not happy with the the distance that gets rendered all the mountains on the horizon are a blur and the water/islands in the mid ground are not very detailed.

I have a r6970 with an aftermarket cooler, the game is set on "ultra" and my card runs it flawlessly with a peak temperature of 47 degrees.

So I'm sure my card can handle more, I looked in the profile file at the lines of code but I can't find anything to do with render distance.

I also noticed when you fly over the landscape with the handglider trees pop out of the ground suddenly where they are rendered at the last second.

What lines do I need to add to the file to get more viewable distance, any other tweaks are welcome.

Thanks all, David.

Is there an option to change the visible distance?

What about sync every frame? not sure if this will help though....

Perfect thankyou!

I did google a lot but nothing I found was quite relevant, it doesnt help that google seems to have been made dummy proof.

A google search including the word blur brings results with the word "blue" even after typing in "-blue" xD
