ive got my new build up and running and trying to install windows 10 via external dvd Drive, but every time I press f8 and select it the unfinished bios utility keeps coming up !

Can someone help me with this please

Set the boot option first without it connected. Change boot order when installed.
Use a different usb port (rear ones USB 2.0)
Create a usb installer
rinse and repeat till something works.

Oh, and make sure you have ver 1709.....can be had from MS direct.

Download the media creation tool and use a USB stick to install W10. You can activate it when installing it if you have a license key or do it later if you plan on buying a key. It can be used without activating with a few restrictions i.e No personalisation and I believe you get a watermark at some stage.
