Help Please - How do I upload a photo to this site?

Hi, A month or so ago I attempted to upload a photo to this site, my first ever attempt to upload a photo.

That day I'd registered with Flickr; unfortunately when I uploaded the photo it also showed my email address so I deleted the link.

Could someone please give me the heads up on the best way to post photos. A simple copy & past would be easiest.

Make an account on imgure.com.
Once on there there is a "New Post" tab, select that and a new window opens, you simply drag and drop a picture onto this window and quite quickly the picture is uploaded to your profile.
Navigate to your "Images" and you should see summet like



Select the image you wish to upload and another new window pops up

Down the right hand side of the image are a few selections. Select
BBCode (Message Boards & Forums
Click to expand...
This copies the image link which you simply paste into the thread, like so

Job done....Very simple really...

Thanks to both of you especially tnx. That was the exact information I required and thanks for the walk through. I certainly wouldn't have been able to have done it without your help.

I've now posted the photo on the thread: Does anyone know who this guy is?
 
It's useful if you're cross-posting to link the cross-post you're referring to. Otherwise most responses will be "What's 'the thread' and who is what 'guy'?"

This needs stickying tbh.

So many people can do the upload bit correctly, but on the old forums you used to have to do the insert image bit, which is no longer required and just sticks an extra img tag in which causes it to break.
 
Sure somebody could make a better job of it than me. Without the Swastikas...

I will remove them now. I recon the OP got the info needed..
