Hi guys

I need a computer to edit videos primarily in HD but maybe 4k in the future.

I don't have a permanent base at the moment and will have to take the computer with me by plane when I move location.

The obvious solution seems to be a laptop but these are so expensive and I already have a basic laptop.

Can I get around this by building a small or micro computer which is capable of editing video? Or is there a ready built micro pc I can buy? What specs would I need?

I would like to keep this under £500 but I'm not sure if that's realistic.

Not sure if this is relevant but would like to be able to use a stylus with the editing program at some stage in the future, if possible, but this is not essential.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm not sure about the stylus but £500 for a pc capable of video editing is a big ask even if you build it yourself. Try looking at 2nd hand machines if your limit is £500.

Decided to try and do it for a grand and have started another thread asking for spec recommendations.

Thanks for your help Big Frank.
