HELP PLEASE!!! Oblivion stutters every second...

Can anyone help me please, just bought this game and it stutters every second even when loading the title screen, its totally unplayable.
I have AMD64 3200 6800GT and 2Gb ram.

This is driving me crazy, all my other games are fine,

anyone?

cheers Noxis but that didn't fix it.

It stutters even when loading the Bethesda title page, i cant play it.

any more ideas ??

Have you got FFDSHOW installed? apparently this can cause problems, check if there are any instances of it in the taskbar when the game is running
