Help please - recent build

Hey guys,

I've recently built a mini-itx system which is hooked up to a samsung TV via HDMI.

Occasionally I've been getting these strange issues where the screen ends up looking like this.

At this point my PC is effectively frozen and all I can do is a hard reset. But strangely, any audio that was playing continues to play in the background. I haven't been able to reproduce this issue with consistency. Sometimes happens just when web browsing or listening to music on youtube. I haven't had any issues while gaming.

My full PC specs are as follows:
Asrock z77e-itx
Intel G540 2.5Ghz
Kingston Hyperx 4GB
Powercolor 7750
Samsung 830 SSD 64GB
WD Green 2TB
BeQuiet 430W PSU

My first thoughts were maybe a graphics card issue, or overheating. But i've got the latest drivers (12.8) and temperatures are well under control. 40-45 degrees C

Does it happen when you use the onboard graphics?

Good idea - I should probably test it with onboard graphics for a while.

This doesn't happen that often to be honest, but yesterday it happened twice in the space of half an hour.

Well its been a few hours and i've yet to experience this with onboard graphics. But after a bit of reading up I think i've found a couple others with similar issues.
