firstly let me thank for you taking the time to spec me a setup i have to say its very much appreciated :)

At the moment im not to fussed about cpu cooling as my mount doom air cooler works quite well + i cant push my chip any further then 4.3. That being said within the next 6 months i would probably purchase a new board chip so will reconsider cooling cpu via water then :)

Again many thanks for the spec , I will get the gear ordered this week ... most likely monday tuesday and post back once done :)

again thanks for the replys ill alter cart slightly as you guys have advise tomorrow / tuesday and order , cant wait. Can i just check :-

EK Water Blocks EK-DCP 4.0 PWM X-RES (incl. pump)

is this a quiet pump combo if not i dont mind spending a little more ??

thanks for the advice regarding setup , i actually have the money to get all the stuff in tomorrow. The only downside for was i had no room in case without taking a hacksaw to it to get the combo pump either 100 or 140 so i was thinking of going with a bay resorvoir instead such as :-

Monsoon M2 Reservoir D5 Premium

and this pump as advised

This is my basket at the moment will order tomorrow if all is correct and i havent missed anything ? :-

well got all my parts except titan x ek block which turns up monday , will post some pics when start / done :)

again many thanks for the help everyone who replied :)

quick question for when i start build , would it be ok to leave the pump on 2 or ?

Well thanks to the help of everyone who has replied i have now my first water cooling setup , i was going to mod my original case (fractel design black pearl) but decided against it. So I purchased the phantek enthoo primo and changed resorvoir back to ek 140 , very happy with setup no leaks after 24 hour test. Got the bug now so cpu will be next pay day along with some more bits lol :)

My gpu under load on default blower was around 77 82c / with current setup i peak around 44c.

thanks , yeh have to agree it is quite addictive Im already looking at more parts. I think next week ill add a 420 or 280 radiator to gpu loop at top of case add in drain port then look into cpu. Found myself mooching through gallery for ideas etc :)

**edit after a 3 hour session on the witcher 3 gpu @ peak i actually hit 54c last night , so would i be correct in thinking another radiator like a 420 or 280 would yield better results ?

I noticed the bottom of radiator was hotter then the top where fans were , which led me to look into push pull .. i thought this may be a good idea but opinions seem mixed with minimal difference .....

just to add hit witcher 3 again this evening and had temps at 55 / 56 bottom of rod was quite hot. Kind of wary about the temps as the tubes say 60c which im guessing could cause issues. Currently my setup is as per picture ie res pump rad gpu res , if i grabbed a 420 i was thinking res pump rad 240 gpu rad 420 res to sort temps out.

Would appreciate some feedback if possible , if need be will grab a 420 rad to add to loop tomorrow if it will help ... ?

Need the ambient temps as well tbh so to see what the delta is. It's been damn hot this last week.

Been at the bottom may be restricting some air flow due to space from bottom of case to table/desk top

Are the fans pulling the air or pushing ? Looks like pushing from the pick. Try the other way, I know its putting heat into your case. Try it to see if pulling air from outside helps

thanks for the advice appreciate :) so ambient temps around 26 idle temp 31 tonight i hit 64c under load the radiator was roasting and heating bottom of case. Ill flip the fans around and add 2 120s i have spare under radiator as well to push. Ill report back in a few hours once done and tested ....

ok so just to report back changed fans from push on top of radiator to push pull see picture , peak tempreture is still 65c. The radiator feels hot to touch :-

65c seems to hot to me and is not that far of from stock cooler , i dont know if i should grab a 420 or 480 radiator add to loop or rebuild loop and remove this 240 rad as it does not seem to be able to cope with load. Advice appreciated please
