Help please the darkness loading issue

My ps3 wont load in chapter 5 end game the bit where i have to go meet aunt sarah on the lower east side. As soon as i leave the subway to get to the lower east side during the loading scene the bar just freezes half way every time. Im stumped to what the problem could be, i have the latest updates and every other game loads fine Fear, COD4, assassins creed no problems but the darkness is odd any help would be great please.

Thanks Reeve i'll have to wait for a patch to be released then to fix the problem, here's hoping some time soon how frustrating i was really getting into the game as well .

I dont think thats possible is it with this particular game.
