I set up my water cooling a few days ago (apogee gtx, EK-FCX1800 full cover gpu block) onto my x1900xt. Leak tested it, and all good, no leaks. But on switching on my computer I get a long beep followed by a non-ending series of beeps each about a second long with a very short gap between them, like an alarm clock, and no video out. The motherboard's a P5B vanilla, and the beeps in the manual don't sound like this. Have I screwed my graphics card? (the x1900xt has little cream colured blocks that stick up above the memory chips which I think the block might have pressed on. Cheers for any help!

Just a thought it might be the grpahics card is expecting a fan to be connected and won't boot up because of that due for proctection.

Sugest you take your old gpu fan (or any other suitable) and plug it into the connector on your 1900 and see it that solves it.

If it does, it should be quite easy to figure something out to have it connected to make the card beleive it has a fan connected to it.

If still not working, I can't think of anything elase atm. sorry
