help please windows 8 grapic driver issues

i have just upgraded to windows 8 on my hp dv6 3130sa entertainment notebook pc however there doesnt seem to be any drivers available for my hd 5000 radeon graphics card

i also have a intel hd graphic set on the netbook as a result when i connect a hdmi cable to my pc from my laptop it doesnt connect

can someone help please i am really stuck i have tried google to no avil

You tried AMD website?

http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx

They have new 13.1 drivers there for Win8(both 32 bit and 64 bit).

Btw you can also update your Intel Graphic set from here http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect?iid=dc_iduu ,detects what Intel stuff you have and what updates are available,I use it for my Samsung Laptop.

i have download the driver however getting operation failed on the device manager for the graphics card and the catalyst control centre wont open

help i am really stuck

I had a similar problem with another Pavilion model that had switchable AMD graphics. The third party drivers mentioned in the above thread worked.
It seems HP are not supporting older laptops with Win8 drivers....

gone back to win 7 thanks for your help do you know will hp be bringing drivers out for this

You can try emailing them see what they say,its down to HP really however shows their customer support for drivers is not great.

Ironically I just installed drivers for my Samsung laptop from Intel and Nvidia

Its uses Intel HD4000 GPU and Nvidia 650m GPU so I got the latest from Intel and Nvidia Website ,no issues on my laptop all working great on Win8
