i have just bought an E8500 and 2x2GB Corsair XMS2-8500 1066Mhz RAM
the board i bought was an ASUS P5N32-e SLI Plus, which is defective so is going back.
however whilst looking on support forums its apparent that its more trouble than its worth and therefore can anyone suggest a decent board?
I run a 280GTX and a 8800GT using Softth for 3 screen gaming so need minimum of 2 GFX slots i may in the future SLI if Nvidia release the drivers to be able to multi output whilst in SLI mode.
it needs to support:
Intel E8500
SLI ready, (have 2 pcie V1 ports at x16 or x2 V2 x8)
SATA Raid (2 drives striped, 1 jbod)
2x2GB Corsair XMS2-8500 1066Mhz RAM
be a nice overclocker for the E8500
price £80 to £130
