Help please

I've been having various problems since i've fitted a new H/D and AV.. I've just run memtest86 1.15, and it reports 279 errors by the end of test 2. was only running for 2 minutes.

Is this bad.. should this be 0?

I haven't changed anything memory wise and memory is at stock speeds.

Spec in sig.

What should i do?

if you have set everything to defaults and it still doesn't work, you may as well get an RMA

I did, I set every thing back to stock (auto)..so i think you are right RMA is on the cards

I have just noticed i'm not using the latest memtest86+. the lastest being 1.65.. wonder if the test i was doing was not accurate.

I bought my 2gb of OCZ about 4 months ago. It's been running rine.. I only started getting problems when i installed an new H/D and reloaded XP.. I have ran dianostic on the H/D and no errors found.

What's been really worrying me is that background services have been dropping left right and centre. I've had a few odd BSODs and last night even reported a CPU fan failure, even though it hadn't..

OI still have my faithfull Corsair PC3500s.. will put them in tonight for testing.. What worries me is if it is memory, why it's suddenly gone "pear-shaped"?????
