Hey guys, just wondering how do i do some basic overclocking on my 4000+ 64-Bit Single core AMD... I have a ASUS A8N Sli SE motherboard, just wondering how to get started? what voltages and multiplyer should i use? thanks :)

Firstly have a butchers at: http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17612922 that really helped me.

Keep the multi at its default (11x is it?) and start the vcore at 1.3v That is more than what it defaults at I would assume, but thats a nice low level that will get you a little way into the overclock.

This is how I started the clock on my old X2 4400+ clock... I assume they are similar (ish).

Eitherway, use that link above, it tells you everything you need to know!

Then get a copy of SP2004 (not orthos cos thats for dual core) and test it for 30mins - 45mins after each clock, if its stable, up the FSB by 5mhz then keep doing this til its unstable. Then when its unstable, up the vcore a notch and continue this process!
