Hi new to these forums, i have a problem. My speakers have been broken for a while now, i think its a faulty connection at the back of the sub woofer (were all the cables go) or its become loose. Basically what happens is every now an again (quite often actually) if the cables get moved slightly and the speakers go weird and go full volume and scare the **** out of me!!! lol
Well yesterday i had enough so i took it apart, everything was going great until i found a wall of glue! lol they had glued everything i needed to get to into place so i couldn't get to it. so i put it back together and now its worse LOL! Theres my DIY skills for you.
Basically now, i sometimes get a very quiet noise coming out of them and, even more rarely they go up to full volume.... so yea, any idea how to fix? or if i can replace the subwoofer from dell... i had a look on the dell site and nothing, couldnt find the speakers or even a replacement sub woofer...
How much would i have to spend on a decent set of speakers? Or, ive always wanted a surround sound headset, are they worth getting?
Thanks-
