Hi forum , this may sound silly but I need to find out (tutorial) on how to up the voltage of my memory in the bios. I have OCZ DDR3-1800 8-8-8-24 installed in a xfx 790i board and clearly it is not happy with the memory, system crash, post rebbot etc. When I put my cosair 1066c7 in it is fine, no hang up's whatsoever.

Please can someone explain where I go to in the bios and what option to select, i read in a previous forum that I may need to up the voltage to 1.9v , but just need advice on how to. Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

try looking in your bios for voltage setting and selecting your desired voltage for the RAM or memory usually under the voltage control options under the basic options that tell you about your pc . i dont really know about the board your on about or the bios it uses but thats how its generally done. someone may give a more detailed answer later

Advanced Chipset Features>System Voltages and the Memory voltage setting will be in there.
