Help Please

My daughter's laptop has been taken over by a program calling itself Antivirus 2008 Pro. It is as if it has become the admistrator! Anyone familiar with this as a virus? Do you have any ideas how to get rid of it?

ctrl alt del
Close the antivirus 2008 process
Then run
Antivirus, spybot search & Destroy and ad-aware.

Thx but ctrl alt del doesn't work as this program thinks it's the administrator and has disabled task manager! I also am unable to access C drive!

I think i'll try regedit.

Registry editing also has been disabled by the administrator!

Or format, chances are if she let something like that on then this may be easiest solution
