I've just been playing Brother's in arms Hell's highway, and every so often the screen starts to go fuzzy and then recovers again. And now the game has just paused and given me a blue screen and crashed the computer. Does anyone no the cause?

I have a gainward 512mb HD4870 GFX card

Thanks

Matt

Sorry guys but i'm fairly new to all this building PC's and understand very little about them. So if you could just explain what i'm to do to find any info to help i would greatly appritiate that. i installed the disk which came with the card, but unsure wether this will have all the correct drivers on. where can i get the most up to date driver from?

Thanks

Matt

Thats the spec

Yes it was built by myself and a friend.

We had no issues, it started first time. But when we started and logged into vista, the screen went into a snow black and white freeze. and needed to be turned off, it has done this a few times aswell. It also crashed when playing CS source.

i just got that error unfortunaley didn't have time to read what was said on the BSOD. Is there any way i can get the info from this back up.

I can't run my screen at it's optimum resolution now either.

right i have the latest driver installed. and i have just updated to Direct X 10.

I started a game up and the screen went white with loads of pink squares.

And then it goes to the BSOD.

Just been on the phone to the Tech support at OC. And they have said run a memory test, which i have completed and no errors were found. So i think im going to be returning my GFX card.

The system now crashes when just browsing the internet now aswell.
