Do you get any coloured lines or blocks when you are in the bios screen, if so i think memory chips on your gpu is borked.

At least you will have a nice new 5770 tomorrow to keep you gaming.

In dell bios there is black dots all over and the dell logo when you start the pc the dell logo is coverd with black dots.

Ran some tests on bootup screen mem ones are ok buy when i do the full system test i get loads of these errors..

Error code 5300:0119

Msg : Detect a failure when writing and reading video memory. Video mode Dh(320x200x16) adress A0084, expected to read FFFFFFFh but read Oh instead

The given error code and message can be used by dell technical support to help diagnose the problem.

So is it only my graphics card thats dieing because i cant boot into normal mode still only safemode with network.

ok just uninstalled nivida drivers and then restarted and got into the pc's normal mode but the lines are still going down the screen :(

Definitely a busted card. I'm guessing that the cooling has failed and the card has overheated damaging it. Happened to an old 9600XT I once had.
