Hey guys, got a big problem here, my rig is about 7 months old, i got back to uni today from being home all weekend and i see a BSOD, my PC then restarted its sellf and went to the system restore window. I clicked repair then the PC booted up normally yet every 10 seconds it wants to enter power save/ standby mode and it turns my screen off and i have to wait 30 seconds for it to come back on. The monitor was also flashing the start but seems to be fine now (think its in safe mode) what could this be?

It now seems its everytime I move my mouse that it goes into sleep mode. Could this mean a MOBO issue? It flickers black everytime I move my mouse.

Edit: increasing screen res seems to have made it occur less frequently :S?

AMD X4 965 3.10ghz

ATI 5700 1gb

ASUS M4A(?) (some otherletters i cant get to without moving mouse) EVO - retails around £80-£95

Sorry for the terrible list of parts, i dont have the boxes near me and i cant move mouse to check
