Hey all ,
my m8 asked me to fix his pc cuz it kept on crashing etc.
I chose to format his hdd and re-install vista (as thats what hes using)
all went perfectly fine and it is up and running. Here is his spec:
Mobo: Asrock 1333 Full HD
cpu: q6600 @2.4ghz
RAM: DDR2 800mhz 2Gb
GFX: MSI ATI RX2900 XT
HDD : 320GB
So my question is, his ram is supposed to be giving 800Mhz but in CPU-Z i only see 260,9 Mhz this is during idle. Here is a screen of cpu-z

Is this correct ??? is it running at 800mhz? and another question i got different brand (OCZ) 2GB ram @ 800Mhz lying around. Could i add this to his mobo with out any conflicts or does it has to be the same brand / type ram sticks?
