Help please

I boughts an add-on today for Microsoft Flight Simulator, its the first add-on on my brand-new PC - after i install it on the hard drive, and try to install the textures im getting this message,

Access denied to path C:\Program Files (x86)Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Texture\runway11.dds ' is denied.

nothing is ever straight forward is it? please help

how can access be denied?? its my PC and its brand new

i really appreciate any tips, the license key is due to expire soon

Uninstall FSX and reinstall it. If problem still persists resort to googlefu and FSX forums I'd say.

i just wondered if anyone knows how i can allow or 'un' deny a programme access to a particular path

Surely a reinstall is the cleanest solution, though?

Did you run it with administrator privilages?
Reinstall as administrator directly to C:
