Help please

I just noticed that all this time I haven't had my RAM in dual channel. Problem is the fan on my Akasa venom is blocking slot 2 so I can't. Could I just install the single viper fan on the other side of the housing, so it is blowing towards the front of the case instead of the back?

Yes that is the way it's set up now, with the fan sucking air from the front of the case and blowing it to the back, but it is also blocking RAM slots 1 & 2. Could I reverse it?

Yes I could do that, the mounts are little rubber plugs I could reverse. I am worried this will not provide sufficient cooling though. I don't want to fry my 2600k so close to Battlefield 3
