HELP, please.

my psu suffered from death by arcing, so I have all new components on order excluding my graphics card.
my question is, what chance is there that by re-using the graphics card, the card will cause damage to my new system? or what chance is there that the card will be damaged? the card also required 2 power cables and was a1 month old asus GTX 560ti (i was over clocking it

)
it was a cheap psu ( £45 for 750W ).

Hmm, hard to say. 50:50 chance , but you should be ok.

What new psu did you buy.

I went for an XFX 850 pro (non modular) in the end, i read some good reviews where it was stable up to 950W until a safe shutoff.
my build has gone £150 over budget too XD

Bad practice buying cheap/generic psu's, when you spent probably hundreds on the other parts.

the PC was a custom build from 4-5 years ago, the PSU blew last year and i could not afford a high quality PSU, i have learnt my lesson now though. NEVER BUY HEC PSUs
