Tis a hard one.
Depends what games you play (liek BF3 that uses more than 1gb of Vram so having all that performance wouldnt be able to get used well on very high settings) And wether you want to be future proof or not.
Also consider potential CF issues and the fact you arent guaranteed the power of both cards all the time gaming.
The 580 is obselete atm, a 7950 costs less and out performs it and has double the Vram so more future proof.
The 7950 is supposed to be on par or just slightly behind 6870 CF, but you are guaranteed that 24/7 with no CF issues or anything and just a single card.
