Everything plugged in good on my new build.

All fans spinning except my CPU fan and no post...unplug my ASUS GTX 560 Ti 448-cores DirectCU II and the CPU fan spins but not really helpful

Reckon my PSU is not sufficient? It's an old FSP Sparkle 700w I have PCIE1 and PCIE2 connectors plugged into the GTX card.

I have CPU1 and CPU2 into the i7 3770k. Mobo is MSI Z77A-G45

Link to the PSU below

Any help is appreciated.

Try with only one memory stick installed and double check the memory is in the correct slots, also try a CMOS reset.

I will try both these suggestions thanks. Quick question, does the GPU have to be taken off the board to try onboard video?

None of you have said the PSU is not powerful enough yet, which I see as a positive.

Taken the GPU out, to test onboard VGA connection, still no signal to monitor.

Checked all sys fans (front, rear and CPU) connections, checked usb 2.0 connections, checked power switch, sys reset connections (doesn't reset lol), speaker is in (no beeps lol).

Just wondering whether to check my CPU seating? Not sure if anything is wrong with CPU because I get led1 for CPU.

Just to recap on couple of items:

  • The 12V for cpu is connected along with the 24 pin ATX Connector.
  • Both plugs into the gpu (now removed for testing)
  • Memory tried in different configurations
  • CMOS reset.

It might be worth removing the cpu and double checking the pins.

Thanks for your help RJC.

To confirm,

- the 20 pin+4 pin connectors are in.
- the cpu1 4 pin and cpu2 4 pin are in.
- tried the memory in different slots
- GPU is out at the mo
- monitor plugged into VGA onboard slot

Reckon my only option is to check the cpu seated correctly.
