help please

So i just got my built pc from over clockers and i was so excited but now i cant really use it cus i get no sginal to the monitor.

the monitor is a asus VG248QE


computer specs

msi gforce gtx gaming edition
kingston hyper x 16gb
asus tuf z97 gryphon armor edition
i7 4790k

What cable are you using?
Does another device output to the monitor?
Have you got another monitor to try?

What graphics card specifically do you have?

Did you plug the monitor cable into the graphics card or the motherboard? (If you're not sure which then a picture of the back of your computer could help...)
