!Help Needed!
Hello anybody who reads this. I have recently decided that I would like to make the move from console to PC. But there is only one problem... I don't really have a clue about what things to look at if I wanted to configure my own PC. I am researching the facts at the moment but I thought it would also be worth a go if someone out there who may know a little more than me could give me pointers or help with building a good PC. I would be looking for a gaming PC that could easily beat any next-gen console for a budget of £400-£500 but I would be willing to go a little further. The games I would probably be playing would be the likes of GTA, battlefield and real-time-strategy games too.
So if anyone who reads this would be willing to help out, thank you so much!

Wow! Didn't expect such a quick reply!
The money would be for the whole package, from processor and motherboard to the keyboard and OS. As for the case, nothing to cumbersome but also nothing to small that i have no room to expand or upgrade my PC afterwards.
And for the resolution: I only have a TV to use at the moment so if i need to spend extra on a decent monitor i will do so.

Sorry if its not very specific, but it's my first time using this forum.

Emmm... i mean if it out matches a next gen console for that price then yeah, that seems like a great choice. Do you have any other configurations for more/less the price that ypu could reply with too so incould have some options.

Thanks
Jake

Thanks so much for the choices you have given me. Hopefully, once i research the facts a bit more, i can start the ordering of the PC. Do you have any pointers or tips for a PC starter like myself about anything in the PC world?

Once again, thanks so much

Jake
