help please

hi all iv purchased the Corsair Hydro Series iCUE H150i Elite CAPELLIX RGB Performance Liquid CPU Cooler - 360mm .all fitted correctly as iv double checked and triple checked it.all the fans are spinning but i have no rgb lighting on the fans or the cpu block.all im getting is red flashing light.can anyone tell me what might be wrong.iv asked over clockers as it was purchased from them but am waiting for them to get back to me.just thought id ask on here to see if anyone has any idea what it might be.many thanks in advance steve

hi many thanks for your idea.s and help/no i have,nt got any software and iv not installed icue yet.its a new build.i was wondering if it needed icue but have not had chance to install it yet.could it be that it needs icue then.i just thought as its flashing red that it must be a bad thing

it boots to the bios first and when i have set the bios to enable the ioa then it boots to windows.the fans are spinning but there is a single red rgb light flashing in the middle of each fan.and the cpu block flashes instead of lighting up in the rainbow colours.i do think i need to update the bios aswell as the date keeps changing when the pc is powered off and it also disables the ioa.other than that im not sure.i was hoping it just needs to be configured with icue and not anything to serious.

thankyou for the info miketimbers.and yes aio.thankyou for correcting me.where would be the best place to post the subject.its liquid cooling but the main problem is the rgb lighting not functioning

thankyou honeybadger will deffo do that.really hope that solves all my issues.just a heads up also all the connections are in there correct places.sata power connected.fan lead connected to cpu fan header.and the fans all connected to the commander core power box

hi all just an update.iv installed corsair icue and still no help.icue just states (unknown device)please contact customer support.does this sound like a faulty item or is there anything else i can do.pretty much run out of ideas now other than send it back to overclockers for a replacement.

hi thanks for that mattyc123.but i sent it back to overclockers as have tried everything including reconnecting it all from scratch and updating everything.strange thing is everything works apart from the rgb lighting which just flashes red on each fan and flashes red on the cpu block.will update you all once i recieve another one from overclockers
