The mobo appears to have 4pin cpu fan connectors etc when I only have three pin connectors on the fans I used on a previous system.. The same applies to the system fan connectors.

Secondly, if I am using a cooler such as the gemini 2 by coolermaster, is it possible 2 get a four pin cpu power connector that will power two 120mm fans that lie on top of the heatsink or would it be better to run the fans independently via molex connecters? Thank you

You can still connect up the 3 pin fan connectors up to the 4 pin headers. The 4th Pin is used for the PWN feature and doesnt have to be used.

It's fine putting the ordinary fans onto the HIgh Frequency Pulse Width Modulation (HF PWM) connectors, as the fourth pin isn't used by most fans anyway. Arctic Cooling and Panaflo sell HF PWM fans in 80, 92 and 120mm flavours if you can track them down.

I would honestly bodyswerve that CPU cooler unless you really, really want it. It's not that fantastic anyway supposedly, and it'll make working on the board an absolute pain in the neck.

A Thermalright Ultra-120 would be a better bet in reality.

Gotta agree with WJA96, the Gemini is just way to big for the results it gives, a TT120, Ultra 120 or the Noctua would be my choice (not in any particular order of choice :) )
