cannot reformat or even fdisk a network drive using win xp...would not even dismount. This applies when using dos as well as in xp
In dos, drive c: is simply not detected even though it is in the bios. Using a win 98 startup disk, drive a and b is assigned to the floppy and drive c and d is assigned to the 2 dvd drives. The actual hard drive -which is drive c: under win xp disappears in dos and is only recognised in win xp? As intimated there are two ide hard drives labelled as c: and f: in windows.
Thanks
