Hi!
I'm building a pc for work that is optimized also for cloning disks ( HDD, SSD - SATA, and M.2 format SSD ) mostly using Acronis. The plan is to use 2x PCIE expansion cards for 1x M.2 SATA & M.2 PCIe x4.
https://images.app.goo.gl/7uRfa3ycrpfB2Eq8A
Usually cloning:
HDD 3.5" and 2.5" to SSD 2.5" - SATA3
M.2 SSD SATA to M.2 NVME SSD
M.2 NVME SSD to M.2 NVME SSD
It is important that it has integrated GPU. I was looking at Ryzen 5 3400g + ROG Strix B450-F Gaming.
Was trying to save some money...
The problem is :
Expansion Slots:
AMD Ryzen™ 2nd Generation/ Ryzen™ 1st Generation Processors
2 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16 (x16 or x8/x4)
AMD Ryzen™ with Radeon™ Vega Graphics Processor
1 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16 (x8 mode)
AMD B450 chipset
1 x PCIe 2.0 x16 (max at x4 mode) *1
3 x PCIe 2.0 x1
Storage:
AMD Ryzen™ 2nd Generation/ Ryzen™ 1st Generation Processors : *2
1 x M.2 Socket 3, , with M key, type 2242/2260/2280 storage devices support (SATA & PCIE 3.0 x 4 mode)*3
1 x M.2 Socket 3, , with M key, type 2242/2260/2280/22110 storage devices support (PCIE 3.0 x 4 mode)*4
2 x SATA 6Gb/s port(s)
AMD Ryzen™ with Radeon™ Vega Graphics Processor : *2
1 x M.2 Socket 3, with M key, type 2242/2260/2280 storage devices support (SATA & PCIE 3.0 x 4 mode)*3
2 x SATA 6Gb/s port(s)
AMD B450 chipset :
4 x SATA 6Gb/s port(s),
Support Raid 0, 1, 10
Compared to Intel:
Intel i5 9600k + Z390 AORUS PRO WIFI (rev. 1.0)
https://www.gigabyte.com/si/Motherboard/Z390-AORUS-PRO-WIFI-rev-10/sp#sp
Expansion Slots:
: When looking at the specs on Intel ( Gigabyte ) ther is no limitation stated on the PCie bandwidth / exp. slots when using integrated graphics ( UHD 630 ). Is that really the case?
I only need speed of Pcie 3.0 x4 in the moment, but its good to have two times PCIE 3.0 ( x8 ) option if pcie 4.0 expansion cards will be available in the future...
Thank you for your time!
Best regards!
L.

Expansion Slots:
- 1 x PCI Express x16 slot, running at x16 (PCIEX16)
* For optimum performance, if only one PCI Express graphics card is to be installed, be sure to install it in the PCIEX16 slot. - 1 x PCI Express x16 slot, running at x8 (PCIEX8)
* The PCIEX8 slot shares bandwidth with the PCIEX16 slot. When the PCIEX8 slot is populated, the PCIEX16 slot operates at up to x8 mode. - 1 x PCI Express x16 slot, running at x4 (PCIEX4)
- 3 x PCI Express x1 slots
(All of the PCI Express slots conform to PCI Express 3.0 standard.) - 1 x M.2 Socket 1 connector for an Intel® CNVi wireless module (CNVI)
- Chipset:
- 1 x M.2 connector (Socket 3, M key, type 2242/2260/2280/22110 SATA and PCIe x4/x2 SSD support) (M2A)
- 1 x M.2 connector (Socket 3, M key, type 2242/2260/2280 SATA and PCIe x4/x2 SSD support) (M2M)
- 6 x SATA 6Gb/s connectors
- Support for RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 5, and RAID 10
* Refer to "1-8 Internal Connectors," for the installation notices for the M.2 and SATA connectors.
