Hi all,

Hoping there are some plumbers on here.

So my problem is ...in the last 3 months I have had to re-fill the air gap 3 times ....on our Megaflo unit.

....Where should I start? Could it be the valves on the Megaflo? or rather something inside the tank itself?

Thanks

I had this happen on mine, although it was easy to troubleshoot as I found the entire top of the unit covered in crust.
Had a very very small leak, so although I never saw any water before the buildup it was enough to lose pressure.

The airing cupboard it was sat in must have been that warm the water instantly dried, to the point it actually sealed the leak back up.

Luckily it was 9.5yrs old so just within the 10yr warranty. Megaflow came and fitted a nice new one.

Sounds like you have a small leak somewhere. It's a pressurized system so something is escaping somewhere.

The only other thing I can think of is that you are putting too much in. Remember when it gets hot it will expand, and if it's too much it will blow and drop down. Keep it at 1.5

My money is on a leak though, sorry!
