hi i just got a new set up,but once ive put it all together im getting a problem
the cpu light on the mobo is flashing red and the rgb on the vrm cooler keeps flashing blue and the aio dont spin up either

the spec is

gigabyte z930 aorus master
i7 9700k
seasonic 1000w focus plus
thermal take 360 water 3.0

ive checked with my old psu and get the same result, took the cpu out and all looks good on the cpu side and no bent pins

is it sounding like a dud mobo ?

i did take of the mobo backplate as it didnt want to fit snug in my case as one of the screw holes was a fair bit away from the mobo stand off ,but im sure this wouldnt make a difference as i dont think theres any contact that there shouldnt be

cheers

Master should have an LCD debug screen at the bottom of the board, should pull up an error code

the backplate also helps to cool the VRMS! would keep it on personally as the doublers are on the back!

have a rep on here from Gigabyte @GIGA-Man that should be able to offer some help as well

have you built it outside of the case on the mobo box with just one stick or ram, cpu and the PSU?

Yeah, Id advise you use the back plate but it wont cause these issues.

If there is no error code on the LED display, my advice would be as follows. Build the system out side the case with just the basic components (1 stick of memory, PSU and CPU) see if the system boots. If it does boot add in the memory, then the VGA and so on, one at a time to rule out each part.

Let me know how it goes.

got it sorted, seems i put the aio rgb cable on the wrong header and it sent the mobo into a panic, all sorted now cheers :D
