Help! Programs not responding!

Dont know whats going on, Restarted my PC last night and now im getting lot of "Problem loading programs error". The programs im getting these errors with are these :- (havent tested everything yet)

Autodesk Max 8.0 Server - This come on as soon as system has got into Windows

Firefox - Dosent Open

Internet Explorer - Dosent Open.

I updated my Ethernet Driver last night possible it could be that? I havent tried programs such as Steam or any games so im not sure if the internet has buggared up in some way.

The acctaul PC seems fine when doing other things. Just means I dont have the internet for some random reason.

Anyone Help?

Can you do a system restore to before you updated your drivers. Also do a scan for Viruses etc.

I would roll back your ethernet driver in control panel - system - device manager rather than the troublesome system restore.

If it was working then you install new drivers and now it isnt working.....

Roll it back as sugested and see if it works, if it does, dont use them drivers...

check event logs too..

They problem was NOD32. For some reason it was not allowing 32bit programs to work :confused:

. So I had to Unistall it and its all sorted now...

Just randomly turned on 64bit Internet Explorer and it worked...After some much googling I stumbled on the NOD32 thing...

Anyways cheers everyone for replying
