i am definatly getting a new 1 but my funds for the next 3 months are very limited so i can't get a new so i will be leaving it off. I just need to confirm that my suspicions are correct before i have 2 leave it off

Just checked something.

Using the specs of:

3000 (stock)
2x stick geil 512
6200 TC (lent by me)
2x sata hhds
2x 92 mm fans
1x 120mm fan
2x usb devices

The top load is 301W with 100%cpu and 100% PSU load.

just using windows should keep it under the 300W mark.

that is more of an option than underclocking *heart skips a beat*

Most voltages will seem to fluctuate - if they do so by more than .1v when idling, I would be concerned.

o it is goin by more than .1 also i couldtry using my onboard graphics and NOT removing my ram
