Help - PSU

I bought a motherboard and CPU from overclockers a couple a days ago and a PSU elsewhere. But whenever I plug the PSU in, there is a constant clicking sound and the comp does not power on.

This is my first ever build so maybe i've done something.

Anyone got any ideas?

Nothing turns on (fans, lights etc) just the constant clicking sound.

Motherboard - Abit IP35-E

250 GB Hard drive

That was all I installed.
