Right i want to push my QX6700 further than 3.3 now i've not messed about with any volts yet, i have the FSB at 270 and muliti at 12. I'm cooling on Air with 4GB of ram and a Asus P5W DH. running SP2004 and my temps are

any help would be great

you will be limited by the motherboard tbh. The 975x boards aint so great for clocking quads and you will be limited by an FSB of around 330 iirc. You however have a QX chip so can you the multis to negate this. You may need to increase vcore a little to get any further.

I am not sure your temps are accurate as your core temps are only 3c greater than the case temp.

You have your CPU at only 35% - you really need to get at least two cores at 100% to give a indication of temps and stability (orthos will do). The easiest thing to try is to set the multi to 13 and the voltage to 1.40v if it is not stable go to 1.45v. Upping the FSB will also work e.g. 292*12 but having 4gb ram may affect the overclockability of the memory.

Right got the CPU up to 3.5 with 1.4 volts and now just running 2 x stress test.

Is my temps ok ?

I have the exact same processor, my limit seems to be 3.204 GHz (267*12) any multiplier higher than 12 just locks the system. In the BIOS the lowest fsb number I can put in is I think 533mhz (I'm on a asus striker extreme mobo) so any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm on air cooling at the mo but would be looking at wc within the next month or so.
These are my temps/stepping

To get past 3.0-3.2Ghz you will need to up the voltage. I have my QX6700 set at 1.475v in Bios giving 1.45v idle and 1.425v under load.

Yep you need to up the volts on the P5B boards to around 1.4-1.5 to get over 3.3 the limit on the P5B Deluxe with out using silly volts it 3.6GHz thats with 1.45v 300FSB, 12 Multi, its what Ive managed to get mine running at,

how comes your core is cooler than mine at 3.3 ghz

You know speedfan docent read the QX6700 temps correctly, its 15c lower there is a setting to change this, however use coretemp instead.

neoconl, perhaps he's using different cooling? I know I get a lot lower temp than yours at idle using a Thermalright Ultra-120 around the 38-41c mark at 3.6GHz Ive just noticed your using a E6300 do you not think its a bit different to a QX6700?

Temp diff between Coretemp & Speedfan
