So one of my rear wheel spokes snapped off today 700c wheel.
Just wondering on how much it would cost to replace.
I was thinking of going to evan cycles and let them replace and true the rear wheel for me.

I don't have a 2nd bike so I'm forced to bike on it even with 1 spoke missing is it alright for now?

It's the Fulcrum Racing 7 clincher? not sure what clincher means.

EDIT
NVM not as dangerous as I thought it would be but any tips and advice would be great

I believe the 7s are 24 spoke. Bit dodgy riding with a broken spoke as there are fewer spokes to take up the tension compared to your "standard" commuter wheel (mine for example has 32). I would imagine the wheel has already gone a bit out of true, so you might have to do some retruing before you ride it (if you insist on doing so). I would suggest you get it to the bike shop asap.

According to the evans price list for my local evans, a wheel retrue would be 18.95 . Now i remember why i learnt to do all my own maintenance :D

As I posted in the other thread; one missing spoke shouldn't stop you riding. There is a safety margin built into all wheels.

Just get it repaired sooner rather than later.

thanks! will do
this is the first time it happened to me so was a bit unsure.
I hope it doesn't break again until I get a 2nd bike.
