Help remembering composer

This guy was I think in his early teens and American. He wrote a lot of his stuff by himself and performed it on the keyboard. He's released one album and another is due out fairly soon I believe.

I'm struggling to remember his name. Can anybody help?

No, this guy was American. He also had glasses and wore hats if that makes any sense.

I have the surname Jenkins for some reason, but not sure if that's right.
