Hi, i've been trying to remove my radio from my car so I can plug in an adapter for my mp3 player but been having no luck whatsoever. I've just been into Halfrauds and they basically said they couldn't get ahold of them. I went to my local ford dealer and was told that they would take 3 weeks to order in  .

Has anybody got anyway I can remove my stereo. There's four flat head insert thingys (no pins)...

Thanks for looking

Get the universal radio removal keys from halfords, put them in with the hook bit facing towards the edge of the radio, and your should be able to get the hook thing onto a little release bar/clip,fidget around there and you should be then able to pull the on the key and and hey presto its released! you need to do a side at the time.

Failing that pop down to ford and they should do it for nowt, make sure you have your code too.

Hi mate,
If you have a Ford 3000, I see no reason why a 6000 wouldn't fit! They're both double din so it shouldn't be a problem!
