Help removing bracket from MXM card

Hi guys,

I have just bought a 670m for my m6600 which I will be swpping with the existing quadro 3000m.

Now I have removed the 3000m but I cannot for the life of me remove the bracket that is stuck on the card which I will need for the 670m.

Does anyone have any good ideas to remove it? It is held on with an adhesive pad. I am going to attemp to heat the pad tonight to see if that makes the adhesive more pliable unless there is a better way.

You can use a thin screwdriver, be careful, especially if you want to keep the bracket, alternating holes should help.

I did try that, but the arms are bending and I was worried it may damage the card. The adhesive is amazingly strong. After the first arm bent I stopped.

Will give it another go later alternating the holes as per your suggestion. Wish it was easy to pick up a spare bracket, but I can only see 1 listed on an auction site and its £20 from canada!
