Hi,

Can someone help me please? PSU is on its way out i think (crackling when turning on / off and shut down randomly today) and need to replace it asap.

Its a Stormforce i5 16GB 480GB GTX1660 Super Gaming PC. I've attached the info on the side of the psu.

Thanks.

Hi .

It's just a cheap generic power supply.

This would be a cheap replacement for £38 need to add delivery.

Thank you. Its actually my partners pc, if he was looking for one that would survive eventual future upgrades and last a while but not cost the earth, could you recommend one?

Thanks.

The above is excellent value for money but if you want better.

What size in watts do you need ?

Give me a budget ?

If you want future upgrades to a midrange or high end graphics, I'd get at least 650, preferably 750 or 850, since they have much more utility for not much more.

These PSUs are both based on Seasonic designs (very similar) and have 10 year warranty.

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £217.97 (includes delivery: £7.99)

Nice username by the way.

I will get him to have a look. Do i need to buy anything else with one of these or is it all in the box?
