Hi, i've been gifted a 1070 ti 8gb SKU: zt-p10710j-10b. SN: n175100068932 PN: 288-1n445-002z8

Looks very similar to: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/ocuk...s-graphics-card-zt-p10710g-10p-gx-118-zt.html
but without the white "gtx 1070" decal and instead has a zotac branded blower fan.

Tried ekwb configurator and they haven't heard of the model number. Anyone know if a Accelero Xtreme III or a Kraken G12 will fit this board as the whirring blower noise is driving me potty!

I've cleaned it and replaced the gpu paste (artic silver 4) and can confirm its pcb is very close if not the same length as the Mini. I'll remove it tonight and see if its got the same mounting holes.

Thank you thank you thank you. Seems obvious now but i never thought of that!

It's not the same PCB to the mini. Very different. See picture.

Also de shrouded and added fan with the airflow direction from front to back so card exhausts like it still has the blower. It's now so quiet I can hear the HDD. Problem is I can't ramp up the system fan [when gaming] as the bios only allows me to tie rpm to CPU temp (which is water cooled). I don't really want to go into bios to adjust my GPU fan everytime I want to game.

i think I'm gonna give up and go back to my gtx 1060.

Edit: can't work out how to use Imgur with this website. See link https://imgur.com/a/SfI63pC

Just tried playing bl3 with the fan on full and it clocked itself down as it got too hot. Was getting 10 fps on low settings. Had to remove the GPU with an oven mitt and put the shroud back on. God I hate the noise but it's all I can do!

Try making a shroud to push air through the heatsink
Out of what? Margarine tubs? I dont have a 3d printer if that's what you're asking.

What I do have is an old AIO from the i5 2500k days that's been sat in a box for years. dunno the brand... Got a logo that looks like a robots face?

I could attach that to the 1070ti and throw passive heatsinks on anything that looks like VRMs and VRAM. Or maybe not even bother with the passive heatsinks as the jury seems out on if they are even needed on a stock card.
